How to use the Ojibwe People's Dictionary

Note:
There is no simple independent word for son. A personal prefix goes with the dependent noun stem /=gwis-/ son to make a full word: 
  • ningwzis, ingwis, ngwis my son (1s-3s)
  • gigwis your son (2s-3s)
  • ogwisan h/ son
  • [MN] ogwisan h/ son/sons (3s-3')
  • [BL] ogwisan h/ son (3s-3's)
  • [BL] ogwisa’ h/ sons (3s-3'p)
