There is no simple independent word for fellow old man, old companion. A personal prefix goes with the dependent noun stem /=iidakiwenziiy-/ foot to make a full word: 
  • niidakiwenzii, my (if I am male) fellow old man, old companion (1s-3s)
  • giidakiwenzii your (if you are male) fellow old man, old companion (2s-3s)
  • wiidakiwenziiyan
    • [MN] wiidakiwenziiyan h/ fellow old man/old men, old companion/old companions (3s-3')

Individual speakers and speakers from different regions use different words when speaking. Each audio recording is marked with the initials of the Ojibwe speaker.
