How to use the Ojibwe People's Dictionary

The Mille Lacs Ojibwe Social Oral History Project documented various aspects of the history of the Mille Lacs Band of Ojibwe Indians in Minnesota. Interviews were done by Dr. Anthony Godfrey.
In the summertime--that's another thing, too. I got into fishing again here just within the last twenty years. Before that I never thought about it. You know, when I was growing up, I never thought about fishing because Grandma put up and give us a stick with a fish line. They always fish line and hooks. Get out there and get something to eat. Individual speakers and speakers from different regions use different words when speaking. Each audio recording is marked with the initials of the Ojibwe speaker.
